Wallpaper, in computer terms, is the background you see on your monitor screen. You can easily change the background to be just about anything you'd like.
One way of creating new wallpaper is to make your own using Microsoft Paint. This program comes with your Windows package and is often overlooked.
To access Paint, click on "Start" in the lower left hand side of your screen. From the pop-up menu, move over to "Accessories" and, from there, move over to "Paint." Click on "Paint" to open the program.
Once in the program, look at the "tools" on the left hand side of the screen. If you hold your arrow cursor over each one of them, you will see a description of what they do. At the bottom of the screen, you will notice a palette of colors. These are for you to choose what color you'd like to place on your picture. Along the left hand side, you'll see a variety of ways you can apply the color. If you make a mistake, go up to the "Edit" menu, click on it, and you'll see an option to "undo" what you've just done.
Be creative! Experiment with the tools and have fun.
Once you have finished your work of art, it's easy to put it on your computer as wallpaper.
Click on "File" on the upper left hand corner of the paint program, and move your mouse to the selection to "Set As Wallpaper." Click on it, and it automatically becomes your new screen background!
